ABOUT US
The spirit of Edwards Hands has long been in the works under the careful eye of Layne Batty. Over the past 20 years, Layne has shared his passion by providing horse rides, free of charge, to many families that included a member with special needs. Only recently did this spirit of free equine therapy take shape as an organization. Inspired by the impact equine therapy had on the Lamb family and more specifically the impact it had on Edward, Tyler Batty, son of Layne Batty, and two teammates Drew Jensen and Austin Riggs set out to make such a service available to as many people as possible. Please join us in creating opportunities for those with special needs.
SADDLE DONATIONS
Through a unique partnership with a local saddle maker, Edward’s Hands can accept your tax-free donation of used saddles. Saddles may be dropped off or shipped to our ranch in Payson, Utah. Please contact us in advance. We will then email you a certificate of charitable donation equal to the value of the saddle or tack. Donated saddles and tack may be used in the program. Surplus saddles are reconditioned and sold, with proceeds benefiting Edward’s Hands. To inquire about a saddle donation, please Contact Us.

Financial Donations
Edward’s Hands has no paid staff; it is an entirely volunteer organization. However, operating expenses are significant. Horses need food, water, and medical care, among other costs such as facilities, saddles & tack, transportation, and related expenses. We welcome your tax-free financial assistance, which allows us to offer these services to families and children who will most benefit.
